Compared to most software program in use today, DynaFit is somewhat unusual in that it is driven mostly by scripting and much less by elements of the graphical user interface. The designer of DynaFit finds that a scripting language with a small grammar is more flexible and expressive than any collection of graphical user interface elements. However, most users will be somewhat unfamiliar with scripting. For that reason it is very important to walk through the short "Getting Started" tutorial presented in these pages.
