Kinetics with MAPLE
Generate MAPLE code for deriving simple rate laws

MAPLE is a well established softare package for Computer Algebra [1], [2].

This tool will generate MAPLE code to derive rate laws for simple unimolecular (uniformly first order) reaction mechanisms.

  • This tool does not handle bimolecular steps.
  • The only type reactions allowed are unimolecular.
  • Example: X --> Y or X <==> Y.
  • MAPLE will not handle more than four reacting species.

Input mechanism:

Example

The above mechanism needs to be represented as follows:

A ---> B   :   k1
A ---> C   :   k2
C <==> D   :   k3  k4
Output
MAPLE files generated upon processing the above example:
  • MAPLE work sheet link
  • HTML export link
  • Plain text export link
  • LaTeX export link
  • RTF export link

  • LaTeX export: PDF print link
  • RTF export: PDF print link
